I haven’t biked to work even once this year! First it was snow, ice and salt, then there were never-realized afterwork movie plans (bikes should never be locked outside movie theaters), today it’s rain, tomorrow I’m working from home.

Being able to ride to work is a privilege. At-work indoor bike parking that I have is not something many office buildings have (despite the city law), and living within 45 minute ride from work is something only the wealthy can afford. It will certainly not be the case after we eventually find a new place to live and move.

I have rain gear, and the bike will not rust (too much) from a little moisture. And my still-mysteriously-hurting shoulder should not have effect on my riding. Enough with excuses!
