Saw friends’ band play on Friday in Harlem. I forgot that I liked ska, at least their version of it, and every other style they play. They are just so good! There is a reason their previous incarnation was so relatively big in the 90s.

He got a full tenured professorship at a really good university in DC, I learned, so they are moving, too.

I still have a summer to hang out with then till then. But I will miss them.
