My old company, through the ghost of John Weinberg, made me physically incapable of writing or saying “I” in my communications with colleagues or clients. Collective effort and collective, rather than individual, responsibility was the key to getting anything done. I must therefore always say “we”.

That runs thoroughly contrary to the way this company operates, where everyone is always left to their own devices.
