Nest is forcing me to upgrade all our i-Devices to iOS 8.4.
I’ve held out for so long, keeping them on perfectly serviceable and fast iOS 7, that they were originally designed for, and that doesn’t have any of the superfluous iPhone 6 and Apple Watch support.
It is ironic that it would be a Google-owned company that would push me to finally do it. And given that 16GB devices are not enough for this operating system, they might even force us to buy new devices later, playing into Apple’s planned-obsolescence games.
