Airbnb (and Couchsurfing, and Taskrabbit) would be smart if they gave their
users a non-searchable link to the reviews they received from their hosts.
That link, which is essentially people you barely know reviewing how good
or trustworthy you are, could then be shared with potential landlords and
other strangers who you’re about to enter into a transaction with that
requires a high level of trust.
This would be far less creepy or prone to abuse than what that notorious
startup, Peeple, is trying to do.
And it doesn’t tie you to how rich or old you are, the way traditional
credit-rating agency would.
