How retro. Just calls and text. No other ‘distractions’.
This exemplifies a lot of what’s wrong with so many products. Here’s a beautifully designed $300 phone that does what a still-attractive $40 Motorola F3 used to do back in 2006.
Except the latter was made for poor people in poor countries, and built to survive being rolled over by a truck, while this is a status symbol for the self-consciously rich who want to show off how into “simplicity” they are.
I used to consider it “art”, but lately I’m just losing patience for this. The talent and effort that went into this could be used for so many so much better things.
