Actually, I miscalculated. The heavy CAD beast will fit the future under-desk area, but just barely, and all the wires will not.

I’m now rethinking if we should even keep it. It was state of the art when I first got it, but if I take out all the components I put in over the years, you can find the same one on craigslist for $100. Maybe I could build another one, reuse memory, graphics card and hard drive, in a mini-ITX case, and resolve the size issue that way with minimal expense. It won’t be as fast as the beast, but R doesn’t use her workstation for CAD anymore anyway. And I could still use it for work and to play Mass Effect Andromeda when it comes out.
