Now I know why streets around here are so full of trash, and no city garbage bins. They only place them in mixed-use and commercial areas. Since this area is probably considered “residential”, there will be no city garbage collection or bins, so inconsiderate people, of whom there are too many around here, simply chuck their trash on the pavement to be blown about by the wind and eventually end up in the sewer and the sea.

I suppose till now I always lived in “mixed use” areas, and this never has been a problem. Plus, now I see how non-wealthy areas are simply not a priority for the city.
