Learning about Albert Schweizer was interesting. I had no idea who he was,
and Kayserberg is sprinkled with his thoughtful quotes.

Also, columns of cars draped in Turkish flags riding around honking horns,
men jubilantly sticking out of windows. Presumably they are happy that
Erdogan got his pal to become the prime minister. What I wonder is if Trump
got elected, and his U.S. expat supporters would drive around a small
French town draped in American flags happily honking horns, what would
people say. Because it’s essentially the same thing.

Except Turks already have their Trump in power, and he just got another
ally replacing one of the last few relatively liberal people who were
opposing him. Poor Turkey.
