30-min r/t train ride to Zurich for both of us would have been $100. They really like to screw the tourists over in this country (the locals pay a lot less). SBB app for discounted ticket doesn’t work without internet, and you need to get an SMS for the Swisscom wifi to work, but for whatever reason they won’t send you an SMS. The kind man at the train station who worked for Swissair offered to lend us his free-parking card if we wanted to drive there, but we’re not driving to Zurich with L. and his inviolable schedule.

So, had to settle for a cute town nearby, and glad we did. Swiss towns are not as ridiculously cute as Alsatian ones, but are beautiful in their own ways.
