She says not to take him to daycare as it is highly contagious.

But R has to work, and I have a very pissed off client who is already complaining that things take too long and that they don’t get enough attention – and I have a deadline today, and I already worked till 2am last night.

What am I supposed to do now?

I did a horrible irresponsible thing and took him to daycare anyway. He was in good mood and feeling fine otherwise.
I told daycare that pediatrician wasn’t sure what caused the rash, but that they should be careful and wash their hands afterwards. He probably picked up this virus there in the first place anyhow.

But the weekend Boston trip had to be cancelled.
