Found a delightful little lake beach only 1.5 hours from the city. It is off a long dirt road and there is only a tiny inconspicuous sign, so it’s very uncrowded even on a hot summer Saturday. And they allow non-residents! Amazed it remained a secret but hoping it will stay this way!
