listening to DNC is way healthier than RNC, and some speeches are simply wonderful (such as Michelle Obama and her husband, and Bloomberg), but even here there are little things that are simply annoying. 

Such as a woman being interviewed referring to her niece as “half-Muslim”. There is no such thing – you could be half-Persian, half-Arabic, half-Turkish and yes, half-Jewish (because the latter is an ethnicity besides being a non-proselytizing faith ); but being half-Muslim is like being half-Evangelical or half-Taoist. And being half-Persian doesn’t necessarily assume religiosity either, because there are Bahá’í, Zoroastrian and atheist Persians. I bet that woman also thinks that the WWII Holocaust happened due to “religious persecution” (which it didn’t – it was racism, old and familiar).
