
actually did get to see Moholy-Nagy at Guggenheim yesterday. I even now know how to pronounce his name properly (it’s “nadj”). Thoroughly enjoyable and well put together – even if it was only for 1.5 hours between dropping off the car to have brakes replaced and catching up with the fun times at the dentist.
Also made me remember how much we underappreciate the Weimar era, and how much energy and creativity was back then before it was all destroyed. I wonder if we live in some kind of modern equivalent of 1920s Berlin.
