Anxiety dreams that always involve being late for a plane.
This one was ANA, from somewhere in Germany to Phuket, with a friend I couldn’t identify. I didn’t have the time to properly pack, so I knew I was missing stuff, but at least I was able to find my passport. Driving a tiny experimental electric yellow taxi on a highway at 35km/h, it’s top speed, big German cars passing me. Thankfully, the airport was a lot closer than I expected.
National Day of Patriotism is actually the first great idea that came out of Trumps big mouth. As long as it’s a federal holiday, and is held on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
Voting, and paying taxes, are, after all, as patriotic as it gets.

Yeah. That kind of a day.
like a low key version of the feeling people get when foreign invader’s tanks roll into their city that was surrendered to them without resistance.
Must get back to that promise to myself not to pollute this place with generic angry/anxiety-inducing trump related stuff that one can read and get anxious over elsewhere. I will only write about things that I see or hear, and how they affect me and those immediately nearby.
One of those days when I wish I could still bike to work.
Does it mean that for as long as I live here I will never be able to do it again?

Firefighters in Tehran, Iran react after the Plasco building, an iconic tower in Iran collapsed after burning due to a massive fire.
Many firefighters were inside the building while it started to collapse. Last picture is of some of the firefighters that were inside the building in the early hours of the fire starting.
This happened yesterday and is very sad.
