A middle aged man is standing on the corner in 98 degree heat holding a cardboard. I saw that he was a plumber, lost his job, and wanted someone to hire him. Very 1920s. Or like that depressing Ken Loach movie, “I, Daniel Blake”.

Humans should not be outside in this heat for more than a few minutes.

This is when I actually felt that this is how this planet is becoming uninhabitable before my eyes.
