I wonder if the entire genre of “rom-com” is going to be dead from now on. I can’t think of a single one that doesn’t glorify behavior that is now considered problematic.

Come to think of it, this probably why I always hated them, so, good riddance?

Maybe they would be replaced with movies that lacked that behavior, like Lost In Translation or pretty much anything from Wong Kar Wai or Edward Yang, that I liked.

It must be noted that none of them have a happy ending for the protagonists.
