At last night’s coop shift: one of the guys fixed up their a basement-level apartment to rent, made it ready to show, and the first girl who showed up signed on on the spot.
Her Minnesota parents insisted on prepaying for the year of her rent – $36K , plus month deposit, plus 15% broker fee, right there and then. She works in business development at a startup, and I’m sure she is perfectly nice.
