If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?

L’s favorite things on the block where our friends live and we are staying are this pile of old tires with some beer bottles inside some of them and busted-up food truck he is obsessed with that in it’s better days sold Jamaican food.
There is a bar down the road called “Last Chance”. It is real deal, with clinking glasses containing dark liquid of some kind on its peeling sign.
But this city is great not least because a couple of assistant professors could afford a place to own here, and their home is pretty and full of books that I would love to lock myself in their top floor sunny room with for a couple of months.

A guy unloading cases of beer to his bar from his Range Rover saw me and L standing in the rain asked if we were lost and offered us a ride. He even has a baby seat, he said.
He did not know that L would scream the recently learned NOO to every direction we would take and thus had us stuck on that corner.

I think a lot of people like conceptualize transhumanism as a very…….far off distant thing that doesn’t really have anything to do with them but i’m constantly thinking about my own personal consciousness expanding far beyond the confines of my default body in a very literal way and I think that’s exciting I always think its weird when people like can’t connect that in their lifetime what we think of as a body could dramatically change in a way we like can’t fully comprehend yet 🙂 anyway see ya’ll in the year 7983
