What needs to happen when everyone you know has better things to do on Friday nights is catching up on the long-neglected movie list. Ex Machina is still, incredibly, playing at BAM. They also have Truffaut’s To Kill a Piano Player. But I went to see the former. And I still have free admit-one cards that they give to BAM Cinematek members from the long-ago and half-forgotten time.
People-watching was the dream of Ex Machina’s robotic protagonist.
To do the same, afterwards, on a warm night, would be only appropriate.
