The worst part of this society we’ve created is how it’s a privilege to be heard instead of only seen
I wonder if it’s because hearing takes more time, conscious effort and commitment than seeing.
Commitment-phobia has become endemic because of information overload that we continue to create.
We became hyper aware of endless possibilities, we want to be everywhere at once, we want to experience everything that exists, and we want to know everything that was and that will be. We want to become gods.
Technology gave us an illusion that it is possible, but instead it took away what we had.
